SAN BENITO, TX. – Margaret Marin Perez entered into eternal rest on Saturday, the 21st of January 2023 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas. She was eighty-six years of age.
Margaret will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Preceding Margaret in death was her daughter, Sylvia Pursley; and her grandson, Christopher Pursley.
Survivors include her husband, Juan Perez; her daughters, Degna Perez and Cynthia Perez; and leaves behind her six grandchildren Priscilla Pursley, John Perez, Sylvia Perez, Lawrence Gaytan, Hudson Stolte, and Amari Perez. She is also survived by her two sisters, Minerva Terrill (Robert) and Alice Canales; brother-in-law, Felix Perez (Carmen); sister-in-law, Velma Puente (Ernie); in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, the 25th of January 2023 between the hours of one o’clock in the afternoon and nine o'clock at night, with a blessing and the recitation of the holy rosary to begin at seven o'clock Wednesday evening within the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.
Visiting hours will resume on Thursday, the 26th of January between the hours of ten o’clock in the morning and twelve noon. An escorted procession will then depart Darling-Mouser Funeral Home en route to The Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery, 2520 Inspiration Road, Mission, Texas 78572, where interment will begin promptly at two o’clock in the afternoon.
